Overview: A social tom who gets along with most and is patient enough to put up with almost anything.

Details:

    Roguish - Flirty and playful, Jet is the type of cat who always seems carefree and free-spirited. He is often flirting with those around him and often doesn't take it as seriously. He can be naughty and mischievous at times, which often leads other cats into thinking that he doesn't care or that he's mean, but it's quite the opposite. 

    Cunning - Because of his mischievous nature, the black tom is very sly and cunning. He's good at reading others and using what he knows of them to his advantage. He isn't a mean cat though, he often tries to help others, but can come off as dishonest and untrustworthy. He's pretty blunt with others and calculating. He calculates well in social situations and is usually smart about the way he acts around others. 

    Fraternal - Has a big-brother complex; altruistic and neighborly. It's mostly focused on Fox, but it can be directed at just about anyone, especially those younger than him. He is very likely to "adopt" others into his "family" along with Fox, but they're come-and-go, rarely sticking for long. He easily develops brotherly and protective feelings for others, but they don't last. They're frivolous, a bit fickle. He also has a fixation on helping others solve their own problems, he wants to see others succeed/reach their potential. He likes being a caregiver and protector, and will usually step up in any situation, naturally born a leader.

    False - With the haughty way that Jet carries himself, the over-confident, smug, chiding behavior, makes him seem like he's a mean and untrustworthy cat. And when he tries to help it can sometime sound like he's threatening or blackmailing you. Others might get the impression that he's conniving, or has ulterior motives. But it's mainly the opposite. He's a majorly honest, selfless, caring cat. No matter how nice he is, it seems hard to trust him at face value.

    Proficient - It's irritating to others sometimes, but he's good at almost everything. He's a fast learner, and he's always willing to learn. He's annoyingly earnest about it, but you'd never call him eager. He picks up on things easily, and while he doesn't boast about it, it just seems to come naturally/easily to him. There isn't much this cat can't do, and can't do efficiently.

    Insecure - Living outside of the tribelands had really developed Jet's survival skills, but coming to live in a world of powers and abilities, the tom had problems as well as successes. He's very insecure about using his powers and depending on such things from the Spirits. He always has this fear of it not working when needed, especially when it comes to protecting those he loves. Because of this he is often attempting to deter Fox from relying on his powers.

History

Birth: Jet was born a litter of one. His mother was a small, thin Oriental and didn't take well to giving birth. She had many complications when she was pregnant, which caused his father many worrisome nights. Despite the complications, Jet was born healthy and named for the darkness of his fur, just like his father's. He grew up quickly, often toddling after his mother wanting to help her in any way possible. 

Kithood: Jet became well known in the small community of cats for his maturity and helpfulness. Even as a kit, the tom wanted nothing but to learn new things and help others. Not long after a friend of his mothers had taken up the nursery and given birth to three kittens. Interested from the very start, Jet was often found there chatting with the young ones in a way that only kittens knew. He grew especially close to the youngest and smallest of the three, Fox. Though the younger one was unwilling, Jet would often drag the younger kit around on his 'adventures' and soon the two were nearly inseparable. Nobody really knew what the black tom saw in the smaller Somali kit, but many would think it was to help the tired, young cat from getting into trouble.

Apprenticeship: As an apprentice, Jet took almost everything in stride. He was happy to have the same tattoo as his best friend, and trained just like any other apprentice of a powerless tribe. He was nearly good at everything. From fighting and hunting, to taking care of family and friends, the tom was extremely proficient, enough to make up for any number of unable and unwilling cats. His obsession with Fox never faltered through this time, and even became stronger. He rarely left the other tom's side, especially after finding out that they were of the same spirit. Jet was convinced that it was a sign.

Adolescence: Around this time, Jet had decided to leave his home. He convinced Fox to go with him and they began an 'adventure' of their own. Of the kits born, they were the first to leave and make a life of their own. Many things happened to contribute to their story, and they learned of almost everything there was to know as a new pair of bachelors roaming the Outlands. Through it all, Jet only wanted to see more and learn more, so they kept moving. 

Adulthood: Even into adulthood, the pair of toms travelled. They often moved from settlement to settlement, helping when they could, and sometimes even getting into some trouble. There was a time when they had stumbled across an old and lonely she-cat who had wanted help retrieving a well desired robin's egg from the trunk of an oak tree. It had taken them a week, but Jet had done it and received a fortune for the pair in return. The pair continued traveling. Trouble met them often. There was another time where Fox had almost been carried away by a young falcon, mistaken for prey. It was then that the tom decided to keep a closer eye on the ruddy somali. At one point, Jet had even been attacked by a barracuda once the pair had reached the coast. The attack had left the black tom unable to take care of himself for a short period, and Fox had proven himself to his friend, having to take care of him. He obsessed over the fish and even to this day will talk about it. They continued to follow the coast South until they had reached the Southern Wall and were pointed in the right direction as to where they could go for safety and food. They were welcomed into Shadow-Tribe as exiles and the earthly color flowed back into their once grey tattoos upon their faces. They fit in nicely, especially Jet, as he makes a great contribution as a soldier. Now he shares a den with Fox and is happy for it to stay that way.

Facts:

    -After having to carry Fox around so many times when the other falls asleep, Jet has a fairly strong jaw. 

-Because of taking care of Fox for so long, Jet has picked up a good number of maternal traits. If he were a she-cat, he'd be the best mother.

-Jet really loves kits and younger cats. He tends to baby them a bit, and it's pretty easy for him to become attached, sometimes even too much so.

-Is having odd dreams as of lately that often cause him to wake up in the middle of the night having a hard time breathing.

-Despite coming to the tribes for new beginnings, Jet has a lot of pride in knowing where he came from, and won't easily mold himself into the Tribelands' society.

-Gets cold easily, so he's a HUGE cuddlebug. He'll cuddle anything really, but his favorite is Fox.

-His purr is really loud, like jet engine loud. xD

-He's pretty stupid.

-He also tends to get jealous pretty easy.
